We only reserve a few tables inside, as we are a good old (new) fashioned pub and want to always have space for people who pop by or just fancy a drink.

We serve lovely homemade traditional pub food. We use local suppliers from the likes of Trenchmore Farm, Fish! in Newhaven, Flint Owl in Glynde, Downsview Dairy in Ringmer and many more small suppliers who share our values. Our menus are all available in the pub, so feel free to come in.

We cover all dietary needs, so if you are gluten free, vegan or you just don’t like mushrooms, we’ve got you covered!

Parking

We have limited parking in the pub car park, so our first choice would be a visit on foot! We are lucky to be right next to Glynde station, and on many good walking routes.

If you do need to drive to us and the car park is full, please do use the village carpark, which is less than a 5 minute walk over the bridge.
