Welcome to The Trevor Arms

a family run freehouse

After a closure of eight years, we are delighted to have re-opened The Trevor Arms in the village that means so much to us. Built by John Harvey for the arrival of the railway, it is our great pleasure to be continuing the 180 years of history that this building holds. Our ethos looks to all the best aspects of ‘The Local’ as it was; a welcoming hub for meeting, exchanging ideas and enjoying good company. And the train is still here! So enjoy a lovely walk on the downs and hop on the train home.

We have in our local area a super array of small producers in food, drink and traditional crafts that we have drawn together for The Trevor, and as a freehouse can pour changing selections from some of the UK’s best small brewers, such as Burning Sky, Beak, Abyss, The Kernel.

And the big news, is that we now have the first brewery in Glynde here for nearly 200 years! Come and try our house Best Bitter, only available here.

It has been a lovely first year thanks to help from many wonderful people. Our deepest appreciation to all those who have supported us so warm -heartedly, and we look forward to welcoming you to The Trevor Arms very soon.

Cheers! Steve, Bethany and all the family x

More than just a pub, The Trevor Arms is a community of creative people who truly bring the place to life
